What you need to know about a pillow

The manufacturing process and materials of latex pillows are different from other pillows. We'll go over how they differ based on pillow type.

Natural Pillows

Natural pillows are made with materials from nature. Buckwheat, goose down and feather pillows are included. Latex is the latex from the rubber tree, but be aware that some latex pillows are made with synthetic latex.

Organic Cotton Pillows

If a pillow claims to be organic, that means both the pillow cover and the filling are organic. Organic cotton pillows tend to be firmer than latex pillows, which means it's usually suitable for back sleepers (similar to dunlop latex pillow). Cotton is also very breathable, so it might be fine for those who would like to maintain hot and with the same support as latex pillow.

Latex Foam Pillow

Latex foam pillows use a synthetic form of latex, which means it can never be considered organic and is 100% man-made. Unlike natural latex pillows, latex foam pillows are slightly less firm and durable, but latex foam pillows generally last longer than pillows made with memory foam or feathers. Latex foam pillows generally regulate body temperature better and are generally softer than memory foam pillows. A downside to latex foam pillows is that they often have a distinctive smell (as it is not 100% natural) that won't necessarily put you to sleep.

100% Natural Latex Pillow

natural latex pillow is often considered an eco-friendlier alternative to memory foam since it is made without any chemicals. A 100% natural latex pillow will be soft, bouncy, durable, and long lasting. Although it’s often more expensive than synthetic latex pillows, and memory foam pillows, it’s well worth the investment. There are 2 different manufacturing crafts for latex pillow, one is dunlop and another is talalay

Talatex® Original Latex Pillow is crafted from the finest Talalay latex, which offers the best balance between breathability, support and durability. It is specifically designed to suit different sleepers' sleeping positions, providing just the right amount of neck and cervical support, to each individual user's different needs.
